The Chicken Little's are running around shouting the shy is burning and blaming it on global warming. ROTFL.
The current weather pattern is simple to understand. A system is sitting off the NW coast and another stationary system is sitting of the SE coast. The combination of the two is drawing air down from NW to SE, across the dry, hot, desert. The result, predictably, is hot weather. Note that last word "weather" not "climate change."
We had much hotter weather just before 1900 and I remember sitting in the shade at 52 degrees in the very early 80's. Its hot get over it.
Our beloved PM wasted his time on the phone with Obama talking about global warming. His carbon tax scheme will be putting a lot of pressure on out business community which will cause more unemployment, high social services bills, inflation and feed the 1-3 year depression. So I guess you could say that global warming will cause employment problems. I believe that it will also cause the Lbor Govet to lose in the next election.
