Government Jobs - For Our Enemies

If you are a white shinned Australian, try getting a job driving a taxi. I'm not sure what the conditions are in other states but South Aust. is all but completely tied up by minority groups. They don;t know where major Landmarks are and unless you know or have a map book you may not get to where you are going. A minority driver can get their taxi license in a fraction of the time a white Australian can and does not have to meet basic requirements, like knowing where stuff is.

Flip over to the government services. Under their mandate the government must find jobs for refugees and migrants. Since it is more difficult to find these in the private sector they are granted them in the public/government sectors.

So if your organization is getting any money from the government you had better be employing migrants and refugees. To make this happen education and experience requirements are lowered or non-existent for that group but the standards and requirements for a native Australian (i.e. white and/or born here) are the regular ones.

This means for any applicants there is a difference in criteria for hiring and so the less experienced non-White will always be hired over the experienced Caucasian. This may not be so bad except that these individuals are placed in critical positions. Health Care workers, Immigration Control, Customs and any other sensitive position you can think of.

Again this may not sound so bad until you start thinking about how individuals from some cultures view those from our culture. In some cases they hate us, in others they consider us a lower class to be used. At the extreme end they could be using their positions to allow say a terrorist to import materials, or ignore them when recognized so they can operate freely here.

Note I said extreme case. For the most part the results are inefficiencies, mistakes and errors that can cost or disrupt lives. Think Housing Trust competency levels on steroids. You might see it as an immigrant driving the wrong way down a one way street as I did a couple of days ago. Or your taxi driver at the airport not knowing where Tea Tree Plaza is in Adelaide.

When it is all said and done the concept of equal opportunity and a fair go has turned into a 1984 Orwellian system where "white Australian is good, but immigrant and minority is better" [sic]. The only predictable result is a further breakdown and inefficiencies in government and government sponsored services for the foreseeable future.
