UN, Gaza, Lies, Time

The UN is currently controlled by the group of 57, a collection of Arabic and Muslim nations. During the Gaza offensive it was reported by the UN that one of their hospitals had been shelled by Israel. Like others who have seen this kind of reporting before I waited for the other shoe to drop.

Sure enough interviews with those living near the hospital and footage from the IDF showed Hamas launching rockets from in front of the hospital and an attack on those in front of the hospital but nothing within its grounds. A little while after that the UN admitted that there had been no shelling inside their hospital.

What does this tell you? First it says that nothing from the UN, especially in that region, can be trusted as far as information or balance. It also reinforces that the UN is now controlled by the Arabic-Muslim block and that other nations, like France and others, are simple too weak to fight against this.

It also highlights how closely information out of Palestine is controlled. The media representatives must surrender their passports on entry, watched closely, and must file their reports from inside Palestine after being vetted. For some reason the reporters are seem to be happy with this because they get access. In a recent Time article such a story was printed. It was a two pages and read like a poorly constructed fairly tale. It also shows how a once reasonable and balanced publication has joined the ranks of the sell outs. My father has just cancelled his 3 year subscription because of this story.

The number of news sources that are now reliable when it comes to reporting the facts has diminished to the point where no main stream media or news service is reliable. You now have to be reading services like pajamamedia.com instead.
